Enable backups for my VPS

If you want to use the R1Soft Backup service instead of managing your own backups you will need to upgrade the VPS to include backups in the Client Area.
Note: Depending on the type of server, you may already have backups or may not be able to configure specific options. Managed VPSs already include 7 days of backups, which you can restore using this guide. If you have any queries on this, submit a Support Ticket.

Step 1 - Log into your Client Area and click on Active Services.

Step 2 - Select the server you wish to manage, and navigate to View Details.

The upgrade will take effect once payment is completed. Note that our daily backups run overnight. If you are enabling backups, then this means that the backup software will start to run the night following the upgrade. You will not be able to enable your backups and then restore from a point before the backups were enabled.
