Wordpress - Custom Admin URL

Please note that the information in this guide is provided as a suggestion, and we can't provide detailed support for modifications to a Content Management System. If you require assistance with this, we'd recommend speaking to your website developer to ensure relevance and compatibility with your site.

Step 1 - Log into your Wordpress dashboard and install the plugin WPS Hide Login.

Step 2 - On the left hand side, click on Settings > General, then scroll to the bottom to input the Login url (in this example, we will be using secretlogin). Click Save Changes.

Note: We recommend taking note of the new admin login page for your site, as we cannot assist with recovering the custom login URL once changed.

You will now be able access your Wordpress admin area through the new admin url. We'd recommend loading it in a non-cached browser.
