How to Whitelist / Blacklist an email address in cPanel
Note: This guide uses SpamExperts, which is available for our Personal, Business, Premium and Reseller hosting accounts. If you have a VPS or Dedicated server with us, you will likely not have access to SpamExperts. However, a similar thing can be done by using Email Filter functionality in cPanel.
Whitelist an Email Account
Step 1 - Log into cPanel and click on Professional Spam Filter.
Step 2 - Choose the domain or subdomain you want to access the spam settings for, then click Login.
Step 3 - Within SpamExperts on the left hand menu, select Sender Whitelist under Incoming - Protection Settings.
Step 4 - Click on Add Whitelist sender.
Step 5 - Inside the popup click on (1) Apply to both. (2) Enter in the email address you would like to Whitelist. (3) Click Save.
Once added you will see a confirmation message.
Blacklist an Email Account Step 1 - Log into cPanel and click on Professional Spam Filter.
Step 2 - Choose the domain or subdomain you want to access the spam settings for, then click Login.
Step 3 - Within SpamExperts on the left hand menu, select Sender Blacklist under Incoming - Protection Settings.
Step 4 - Click on Add blacklist sender.
Step 5 - Inside the popup click on (1) Apply to both. (2) Enter in the email address you would like to Blacklist. (3) Click Save.
